I founded Symplicity Communications in 2007 to help people avoid misleading sales practices during telecom purchases. By bringing respect, clarity and flexibility to the process, we help clients find peace of mind in a complex market. My Midwestern values drive how I do business and select the team that makes Symplicity special. I love this industry and serve as a Co-chair for Inforum Michigan’s TechnologyNEXT program for women in technology.
Catherine Behrenbrinker founded Symplicity Communications, Inc. in 2007. Obtaining a Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1996 in International Relations, minoring in French and studying Japanese, Catherine has used this talent throughout her career with working with global companies headquartered in United States, Germany and Israel before settling into the telecommunications industry in 2003.
Eventually, her hard work enabled her to grow Symplicity from the ground up. Now in its 17th year in business, she has helped make IT and telecom “Symple” for hundreds of businesses by providing them with a deeper understanding of how they can improve their technology strategies. Catherine has grown her business to include 16 employees with clients ranging from small businesses to enterprise organizations. Catherine was named one of the Top Women Owned Business in 2017 and in 2018 Top 50 Most Influential Women in West Michigan by the Grand Rapids Business Journal. Symplicity was honored to be selected by the Grand Rapids Chamber of Commerce as the EPIC Women Owned Enterprise of the Year for 2018. A recent goal was achieved in May 2021 when Symplicity Communications, Inc. achieved certification status as a Women Owned Business from Women Business Enterprise Network (WBENC) organization and was certified as a Small Business Association of Michigan in August 2021.
