Reflecting on Growth and Looking Forward: Symplicity Conversations Ep. 26

Reflecting on Six Months of Simplicity Conversations

Catherine Ripley and Director of Marketing Doug Seites took a look back on six transformative months of the Symplicity Conversations podcast, sharing insights, achievements, and personal growth stories.

The journey of the Simplicity Conversations podcast began with a single goal: to increase followers by providing meaningful discussions around business, culture, and community. Since the first episode launched in January 2025, the podcast has grown and evolved significantly and has become a platform for exploring the intersections of innovation, relationships, and the human stories behind business progress.

Over the past six months, Symplicity Conversations has celebrated several noteworthy achievements for Symplicity Communications. One of the most significant milestones was moving into the new Symplicity Communications building, a historic space in downtown Grand Rapids. This move not only provided a fresh and inspiring environment but also symbolized the company’s growth and success.

Symplicity Communications has also spent the past six months winning prestigious awards. The team is particularly proud of receiving the Visionary Spotlight Award for Channel Deployment of the Year from Channel Vision magazine. Additionally, Catherine was honored as Woman of the Year by West Michigan Woman magazine, a recognition that underscored the collective efforts and dedication of the entire Symplicity team.

The episode also delves into the importance of community and relationships. Catherine emphasizes the value of supporting her team through life’s significant moments, whether it’s celebrating a new family member or providing flexibility during challenging times.

Looking Ahead: Future Plans and Aspirations

As Catherine and Doug look to the future, they are excited about the upcoming episodes and the potential for continued growth and impact. They plan to explore more diverse topics, including leadership, customer experience, and the role of technology in business. Special episodes featuring industry leaders and community figures, such as the upcoming series with Intelisys, are also in the pipeline. The team is committed to maintaining the authenticity and storytelling that have become the podcast’s hallmarks.
