The Federal Program Manager will establish, develop, and lead Symplicity’s Federal business built around the NASA SEWP VI contract vehicle.
This individual will be responsible for creating the operational framework, sales strategy, partner ecosystem, and internal processes necessary to successfully grow a scalable Federal organization.
The successful candidate has previously helped build or significantly grow a Federal contracting business within a small or mid-sized company, ideally leveraging a NASA SEWP contract (SEWP V experience strongly preferred).
As the Federal business grows, this position has the potential to evolve into Director of Federal Programs and ultimately VP of Federal Programs.
This role is intentionally designed as a leadership succession opportunity.
As the Federal business grows, the successful candidate has the potential to progress through the following career path:
• Federal Program Manager (Initial Hire)
• Director of Federal Programs
• Vice President, Federal Programs
Leadership responsibilities, team size, and strategic ownership will expand in alignment with the growth of Symplicity’s Federal business.
We are looking for a builder—not simply an operator.
The ideal candidate has helped transform a small company’s Federal practice into a scalable business by creating the infrastructure, relationships, and processes necessary for long-term growth. They are equally comfortable developing strategy, responding to RFQs, building partnerships, solving operational challenges, and mentoring future team members.
This individual thrives in entrepreneurial environments where they can create rather than inherit systems and is excited by the opportunity to shape the future of Symplicity’s Federal business.
